We have one decent size maple tree on our hill, so the kids decided to read a good book in the shade this afternoon. It's not quite the same as a Florida Beach, but a great way to enjoy a beautiful summer day...according to my calendar, the first day of Fall is the 23rd! Today is the first day we've had our windows open in MONTHS. August was miserable....if it wasn't raining it was 90+ degrees. These low 80's feel like heaven!
Just as a side note....we wanted to show everyone that Olivia is FINALLY getting teeth. She lost her two front teeth in Sept. of 2006....here it is Sept. 2007 and the second one just poked through on Thursday. Nice chompers Liv!

Oh, sure...the big teeth come just when the corn is done for the year! Nice weather, we had a high of 59 today and now it's raining. Looks like a fun day in balmy Nebraska...Livie came prepared with a bottle of juice and a bottle of water...and Tony came prepared with a......a dinosaur book! See you next week!! Love, Gramma Sally

I'm jealous of the nice sunny day in SWIMSUITS!!! I, on the other hand, had to scrape frost off my car windows yesterday...I'll trade you guys.
