This n That

Just when you thought she couldn't get any CUTER....Livie got her braces on today! Lucky for her (or so I try to tell her) just has them on her 4 front top teeth...that's not so bad! PLUS, the bands she chose are lime green and they glow in the dark...handy. They are putting a guide wire inside her bottom row of teeth to guide her permanent ones as they come in the end of this month. That is, if she ever loses her baby teeth. This 6th grader has only lost 8 teeth on her own! In a couple months she'll have a head gear to wear at night. That will move her molars back so her teeth can fall out...ca ching!

So here are some pictures of the snow I've been talking about.

Behind the bird feeder is a 5 ft. retaining wall. We've been trying hard to keep our birdies fed!

This is at Tony's school just up the street. I had to take a picture of his science teacher's windows. Natural insulation!

Tony's art teacher has a neat program going where businesses in the community display her student's art work. She picks those that meet a certain criteria and rotates them every 6 weeks or so. Tony's nutcracker piece was chosen so we went to the local Edward Jones office to see it! He chose to make an "Explorer Nutcracker". He even has a little net in his hand if you look close. It's so fun for the kids to see their work hanging up for the public to enjoy.

So like I said earlier, we are just trying to keep busy as we've been stuck at home. Liv decided to watch a movie in peace this morning since Tony had a friend over.

Tony's best pal spent the day with us. Sam's mom fell on the ice and broke her wrist, requiring surgery. The best thing I could think to do for her was entertain her 8 yr. old for the day. Here they are getting ready to sort Tony's animals by continent. Luckily for Tony, Sam is a good sport.

Love the lime green, glow-in-the-dark braces, Livie! When all those teeth start to fall out you can cash in with the Tooth Fairy! Tony, your nutcracker is awesome, love the colors...you look so cute in your buffalo plaid hat! That black squirrel? Probably stopped off in NE on his way OUT of Florida, the iguanas there are hibernating and falling out of the trees!!
