Last night we took the kids to another University of Nebraska-Omaha Hockey Game. The kids really enjoy cheering for the Mavericks. Last time Chris got some free tickets are they were WAY in the nosebleed seats. This time we got tickets from our neighbor who is VP at a local bank...we were right behind the glass and had a private parking spot with exclusive "Club Lounge" privileges. Didn't even know they did that stuff for college hockey. In the picture above, they are desperately trying to get the attention of the "Tshirt Launcher" truck between periods....definately the highlight of the night.
The "T-shirt Launcher"....no luck unfortunately. Maybe next time. Liv asked if this was the same team they saw play Michigan two weeks ago...not a great game. UNO lost to Ferris State (Ohio?) 5-1.
I thought this picture was funny....Tony was a dancin' fool all night long. He would've been happy to just dance for 2 hours, forget the hockey.
Best thing about these games are they are so family friendly. Because it was a lousy game, people left early. Kids got free reign to roam around and have fun. You can see Liv right up against the glass...penalty box is directly to her right. She is turning into quite the little hockey fan!

Do hockey players really fight sometimes during games? Bad boys. Glad you guys had fun. Maybe we can take the kids to a gopher game. Real hockey. Tony can dance and Liv can watch the sin bin.

Ferris State is in Big Rapids, Michigan. I've actually been there in my UMD Tennis days.

Hey, Tony....you have Grandpa Jackie's genes....he was a great dancer..danced with his favorite uncle when he was just a little boy! Now he is a big boy..but doesn't dance...oh, yeah....he was a great hockey player too......Glad you and your family had a good time at the hockey game..it is fun!!
