Artsy Fartsy

Olivia constantly has her sketch book at her side so she can be creative whenever inspiration hits. She was excited to participate in the Lion's Club Peace Poster contest this year. It's open to children ages 11-13 and the theme was "Vision of Peace."

She was even MORE excited to find out she won third place! Over 350,000 kids in 65 countries take part in this contest each year. The local Lion's club was very kind and invited us to their dinner meeting where they honored the 3 winners and presented them with a certificate and cash prize. The first place winner will advance on in the competition.

Here are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners (in that order L to R) along with their art teacher. Good job Olivia!!!!
