Tony discovered Indiana Jones earlier this year and never wavered on what he wanted to be for Halloween. I had to laugh, as we were getting him ready he looked at himself in the mirror and declared...."I just don't look good in tan." Once he donned his jacket and hat he was happier. Took me a while to convince him to go with whiskers. I thought he looked great, he thought he looked "like a little boy who ate too much chocolate pudding!" His quips are priceless.
As most of you know, Olivia read all 7 Harry Potter books in a mind-numbing 3 weeks this fall. When we started talking about costumes she also knew right away she'd be Hermione Granger, the smart, bookish girl from the series. Perfect choice as Liv and Hermione are a lot a like it seems! She was thrilled with how it all turned out...she sure did look cute!
We had perfect trick-or-treating weather this year. The day was sunny and in the high-70's, so the evening was pleasant. It was nice the kids didn't need hats or mittens and didn't come home freezing cold!

This was a big year for Livie as she and her friends got to go out by themselves for the first time. Our neighborhood is perfect for that, as there is just one way in and one way out. It is basically 2 streets with a bunch of cul-de-sacs. The girls had walkie talkies with them and did a great job by themselves. They had a BLAST for sure. Don't you love the TWISTER costume????
Liv headed off to a sleepover after trick-or-treating so "poor" Tony had to examine his loot all by himself. He ended up cutting himself off as his tummy started to hurt.
After a long day at work/school and a full night of trick-or-treating, Tony and Daddy collapsed in front of a Munsters marathon on TV. I went to bed before them and heard lots of laughing at that old Herman Munster. Hope you all had a great Halloween!Can you believe it's NOVEMBER?....don't forget to change your clocks tonight!

You guys looked just great...and Tony, it looks like quite a haul! Hope you brushed your teeth before bedtime last night! Did you have to shave this morning? I think Tony you look great with a tan! Livie, you look awesome in that outfit! It reminds me of a catholic school uniform minus the cape...yikes! Enjoy all the candy! Eat lots~ brush an extra time. :)

What great customes. You guys look wonderful. Tony you will have candy for weeks. Did you find a good hiding place in your bedroom for some late night snacks? Livie your the best, I think next year you will be handing out the treats at your house while your Mom and Dad party in Omaha.

You guys look super cool. When I first saw Tony I said, "Tony face dirty." But mom says it's just part of the effect. My mommy tricked me into putting whiskers on. I had no idea they were on my face until the end of the night. Boo. Livie, you look so pretty. Did you put your hair in braids? Miss you guys!!
