Last night Olivia, along with 5 other 4th graders were honored at our School Board Meeting. These students were selected by their teachers as being "outstanding readers/writers." There are nearly 200 kids in the 4th grade, so it was a nice honor for her! The students were recognized by their principal at the meeting and each one introduced themselves to the Board. After which, they led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance (along with some Eaqle Scouts...those are not really big 4th graders!) Each month the Board takes this time before their meetings to honor students in the district for their different achievements. Olivia has worked VERY hard this year and her dad and I are VERY proud of her. YAY LIVIE!!!

We have another proud mama at our house right now. Olivia discovered this nest on Sunday. My dad will chuckle at where she decided to build her nest...on top of our outdoor speaker! (I have no idea why we even HAVE outdoor speakers, they are just there and now full of bird poop.) It was too high for me to even see inside on a ladder...

...so our fearless Daddy climbed up and snapped a picture with the camera so the kids could see what is inside! Aren't they amazing? So beautiful and perfect. I want to paint a room this color!Stay tuned.....

Congratulations, Livie...you are the best-looking and best-dressed kid there! Notice all the honorees are girls...keep up the good work, we are very proud of you! We are also battling robins, they want to nest inside our garage...the neighbors are all watching to see where the happy couple will finally make their nest...each one hopes it's not in their yard! Love Gramma T.
Congrats Livie! Great job and I am not surprised at all with your school achievments. You must take after Papa John. One for the guys since Sally had to mention the girl thing. Nice picture Chris of the eggs. It has been sooooooo cold here that our robins refuse to build their nests outside. Stay out of my garage robins!

Good work Liv. Maybe your aunts and uncles should have a deal going with you, like i have with my nephew drew. If he gets 100% on all his spelling tests through 12th grade, i have to pay him $100.00!!!
